Meet the Teacher

Hello! My name is Stacey Lenihan and I am very excited to be your child's Prep teacher this year.

I graduated from ACU with a Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood and Primary) in 2012. Since then I have taught multiple year levels (mostly Prep and Year 1) at St Patrick's in Emerald and, most recently, at St Pius X in Salisbury. I'm new to St Bernardine's this year and am very excited to be a part of such a wonderful community.

I am passionate about early childhood education and will do my best to support your child to develop a love of learning. I love teaching with high quality children's literature and am always on the lookout for new picture books to share with the children. I know that children learn best when they are actively engaged so I seek to provide my class with fun and hands-on learning activities.

In my spare time I love travelling the world, scuba diving, practising yoga, cooking, reading and listening to podcasts.
